Both Archie and Joy have been certified to be free of the CNM (myopathy) gene by the newly available DNA test.

The sire “Archie” finished his derby career with 12 derby points and earned a second place in his first qualifying at only 17 months old. Archie has earned 10-1/2 All-age Points so far with An amateur win, and qualified for the 2005 National Amatuer Field Trial Championship and completed six series. Archie is also an accomplished hunting dog for Tim West's Duck Club of Oklahoma. Archie's full sister Gracie, also has 10-1/2 All-Age points with An amateur win towards her AFC title. Archie's sire, AFC Red River Rippin Raider, qualified for four National Amateurs and earned 50 All-Age points in his lifetime. Raider was a littermate to '96 National Field Champion Storm's Riptide Star.
Joy's sire, FC-AFC Rebel With A Cause, currently holds the elite status of the most Open All-Age Wins of any Living Yellow Labrador, Only Yellow Labrador Retriever in Top 4 Open Dogs since 19982, and the 2000 and 2001 U.S. Top Open Yellow Labrador Retriever. Joy's Dam, Frontier's Fatal Attraction, was a Master Hunter with qualifying placements and Jam's and the first titled yellow AKC Master Hunter in Oklahoma.
